The FTK campus will no longer serve as a campus solely for 9th graders. All 9th graders will be integrated across both campuses in order to fully take advantage of all high school programming available to them. So that our high school more closely resembles a college or university and to further promote collaboration among our incredible teachers, our campuses will be organized by department. English, Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, Visual and Performing Arts, Career Technical Education and our academies will be housed on the main campus. Math and World Languages will be housed on the FTK campus. The new block schedule includes a longer passing period (10 minutes) in order to accommodate students being able to get to classes between facilities. All parents (9th-12th grade) visiting SLHS should come to the main campus office for assistance unless they specifically have an appointment with somebody on the FTK campus.
