Monique Tate and her husband Anthony have three children. Two daughters both graduates of San Leandro High School; the oldest a 2009 graduate and now a college graduate working in the field of engineering; their second daughter a 2014 graduate now a freshman in college studying psychology and their youngest a son now attending the high school and doing very well. Monique has been working in education for over 10 years through the county office of education. She has also been active with our schools and the community for about 14 years. She decided to return back to school as an adult and obtained her A.A. in Liberal Studies from Chabot College and transferred to California State University East Bay and obtained her B.A. in Human Development with a Minor in Business Administration and her graduate degree in Public Administration (M.P.A). She is passionate about education and believes that all children and adults can be successful with support and guidance just as she received.
