As a student in SLUSD, we are pleased to provide the opportunity for you to check out a Chromebook for the remainder of the school year. Please contact your school's principal if you need to check out a Chromebook. The Chromebook and charger must be returned to your school undamaged and in working order when requested.

The Chromebook is the property of the San Leandro Unified School District. You will be held liable for any damages incurred during the checkout period. PLEASE NOTE: Your Chromebook may have a low battery. Keep it plugged in while using it.

Chromebook Care and Proper Use

• Treat your Chromebook as you would any valuable electronic device.
• Don’t touch the screen, and be gentle with the keyboard, trackpad, and ports.
• Don’t add stickers or markings to the Chromebook. 
• Don’t eat or drink near the Chromebook.
• Do not lend your Chromebook to anyone.
• Follow all SLUSD policies and school rules regarding the use of technology.
• SLUSD cannot offer technical support.  Contact your principal with questions.

1. Log in to your student Gmail account (and student Chromebooks if necessary):

1. Student Gmail: First Name + Last Name Initial + Perm Id Number + @slusd.us
2. Student password: Student Date of Birth 8-digit format - MMDDYYYY

How to Log In to Clever

Go to the Clever Portal: https://clever.com/in/slusd

Log in using:

1. Student username: Gmail username (First Name + Last Name Initial + Perm Id Number)
2. Student password: Student Date of Birth (MMDDYYYY)
