Friday, March 16th - A photo on social media depicting a threat of violence via graffiti did not occur at John Muir Middle School, school officials and SLUSD police have confirmed. All students at John Muir Middle School are safe.

“The photo was not taken at John Muir. We have confirmed that picture does not match our campus facilities and there was not any graffiti anywhere on campus that matches that photo,” said Principal Vernon Walton.

Classes are in session and will follow a regular schedule today.
