The goal of the Board of Education is to ensure fiscal solvency of the District and accountability by adopting and monitoring a budget that allows the District to effectively and efficiently achieve the results described in the vision for improving student achievement. This vision includes implementation of state and federal mandates as outlined in the Local Educational Agency Plan and all other plans (Title I, Title II, and Title III) as required. The committee meetings center around the budget development calendar (Sept., Dec., Jan., March, and June).
