The goals of the Board of Education is to support student achievement by continuing to expand curriculum development, assessment—systems, and professional development opportunities (curriculum) and to ensure actions taken by District staff support the vision for student achievement and to communicate expectations regarding the overall climate that the Board and community wish to exist in the schools (policy).The policy committee also meets regularly to review and update Board policies to ensure alignment with current mandates and state and federal requirements. The committees meet monthly generally in the evening. Date/time set by the committee members and the Chair.
