There are many different types of leaves of absence available to our employees. Many of the leaves are available to all employees while some are specific to certain bargaining units or to certain types of employees (certificated, classified, part-time, substitute, etc…). The information on this website provides an overview of the different types of leave available as well as some of the forms  needed to apply for the different types of leave. Due to the complexity and interconnected nature of some of the different types of leave, you may need assistance in figuring out which type of leave fits your needs.
