Dear Orchestra Students:

I hope that you are enjoying your rest at home.  This is a wonderful time for you to catch-up on practicing your instrument.  You will find enjoyment in making music while staying at home!

Please go to my Optional Homework Folder to find out details on your practice assignments.  All students should be practicing 2 and 1/2 hours to 3 hours weekly.

Concert Orchestra students and Advanced Orchestra Percussion students should be working on Pirates of the Caribbean.  Work on counting all triplet rhythms.  Play through all difficult passages slowly for 5 to 10 times daily.

Advanced Orchestra students will practice Tchaikovsky Serenade-Finale.  All students will practice from beginning all the way to Section H.  Go to my homework folder for more details.  Please label fingerings for yourself and play through difficult passages slowly with good intonation and good tone with vibrato.

Brandenburg Ensemble students:  Please finish learning the allegro movement by the time we go back to school.

Dear Orchestra Students:

Starting next week, I will use ZOOM to meet with you all.  Please pay attention to announcement here for time to meet.  I plan to schedule a meeting on Wednesday and Friday of next week.  Please try to make it to at least one of the two meetings. 

I also will try using Google Classroom for you to communicate with me and to turn in your homework.
