CAREER EXPLORATION
High school is an integral time for students to think about the career they would like to pursue after graduation. As they are growing up, students are constantly asked "What do you want to do when you grow up?" This is not an easy question to answer. Many high school students are unsure of what career path to pursue or often change their mind about their career interests. The purpose of the Career Exploration section of the Counseling page is to connect students to resources that can assist them identify interests and abilities, which can help in the discovery of the career they may like to attain. All 9th graders also take a semester of College and Career Readiness to help them develop a 10 year plan that they can adjust as they go through their high school experience and beyond.
