Welcome to Mrs. Abadia's Web Page Adapted PE Specialist for San Leandro School District Job Description As the adapted physical education specialist, I have the opportunity to work with students from 1st grade through age 21. I observe, assess and teach in order to help students with their gross motor, locomotor and overall cardiovascular fitness and knowledge. I assess students and recommend the safest and most valuable physical education placement to meet their individual needs. I support teachers by working with them to modify physical education curriculum to meet their students needs as well as teach adapted PE classes at various elementary schools, Transition students and at San Leanro High School.
