Khan Academy - AP World History
This site is the official practice partner for College Board AP®. Here you will find AP lecture videos specifically aligned with the College Board AP® Exam, subject outlines and even practice exam questions.
This is an excellent supplement to deepen, refine and organize your understanding of complex material. This resource will clarify key points from the textbook, enhance important World History coursework we cover in class and synthesize material from other outside resources.
AP® World History is a college-level course. AP students need to be proficient readers of college-level text, so this does not replace class requirements to read your textbook chapters and create your own outlines. However, enhance those outlines by viewing these lectures as you are reading the corresponding topics in your textbook each week. Take notes accordingly to support your learning.

"Crash Course" Videos & Freeman-pedia
Freeman-pedia: An impeccably arranged source for the AP World History framework that gives an overview of the need-to-know information from each unit. Also contains links to John Green’s videos (as entertaining as AP World History gets) and scads of hyperlinks to dive deeper into the content of the periods of world history.
As mentioned above, John Green (author of The Fault in our Stars), takes a break from teen romance to record comically insightful videos that summarize major events, time periods, civilizations, empires, dynasties, and any other major phenomenon that falls on the wheel of history. These videos are collectively called “Crash Courses.”

*PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR READING. These videos provide good overviews, but they lack the depth and analysis needed to succeed in the class and on the AP exam.
