Hello, my name is Nicole Hunter-Maes and this will be my second year teaching science at Roosevelt and my 5th year as the after school ACE coordinator.  I come from an engineering background and have a real passion for sparking excitement in students. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have this opportunity as the teachers are top notch, always going above and beyond.  The entire Roosevelt community is amazing; my two older sons had wonderful experiences here and my youngest is just starting his (1st grade!). When I’m not coaching or spectating their year-round sports I enjoy running, baking, walking my dogs and reading for pleasure.  And getting up early to enjoy my coffee in a quiet house!
