Hi there, I’m Sarah Crump and I am so excited to begin working in SLUSD! I will be teaching general music to grades 1-5. I moved to California from Boston, MA over the summer and I am looking forward to exploring the area! I studied music education in college where I learned to play many instruments, but I specialize in the clarinet and saxophone. When I’m not at work, I enjoy going for hikes, swimming, and reading. I was drawn to San Leandro because of the project-based learning initiative and the diversity of the community here. I can’t wait to get to know the students and families at Roosevelt, and am excited for a very musical year!
