Wow! I am about to begin my 34th  year of teaching in SLUSD! I have had the pleasure of teaching grades K-5 with most of my experience at 1st and 3rd grades. My three children attended Roosevelt and I live in the community. I am trained in Reading Recovery and enjoy teaching reading, history and art. In my free time I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading historical fiction, baking and gardening, needlework and recycling old furniture or items into new and exciting school auction items. You will probably see me walking through the neighborhood frequently. I adore PEETS coffee! I enjoy living in the community I work in  and have a vested interest in wanting Roosevelt to maintain its community feel. I’m a believer of parent involvement and welcome classroom volunteers.
