    San Leandro High school students and families

    We the Black Student Union at San Leandro High would like to invite you to comejoin our club. We are a positive club striving to make a difference. Last year our BSU club hosted various event and activities;

    *Christmas Party

    *Black History Program

    *Martin Luther King Jr.event at the Paramount theater

    *Volunteered at the Alameda County Community Food Bank

    *Bowling Party

    *College Tour- Stanford

    *Career Day

    *Went to Great America

    We also promote that our students strive to have a 2.0 or above and had end of the year celebration for these achievers.

    We will have a Black Student Union meeting mid September. Listen to the school announcements to hear when the meeting will be.

    We are asking for parent participation to help assist to make our BSU club and our members a success..

    We will have our parent meetings last Tuesdays of every month.

    We hope that many parents and students will come out to support our meetings,activities and events to show that "We are Striving to be the Best
