I am thrilled to begin my career as a lead classroom educator with Roosevelt and San Leandro. After four years of student teaching in Paris, San Francisco, and Sunnyvale, I cannot wait to have my own classroom! I am passionate about inquiry-driven education, collaborative learning spaces, community involvement, and authentic learning tasks. I was drawn to Roosevelt for its Project-Based Learning model, active parent community, and commitment to social-emotional learning. I very much look forward to learning with and from my colleagues, and building relationships with the whole school community. In my spare time, I enjoy journaling, playing music, being in community, and trying to keep my many houseplants alive.
