I am so lucky to have student taught in San Leandro and that I will now be returning for my second year in fourth grade! San Leandro is an amazing place to work and I am so grateful to be a part of the Roosevelt family. Our staff is so supportive, our families extremely generous, and our kids are amazing-hardworking, silly and kind. My philosophy of teaching is built on communication and connecting with my students and families. In my free time, I love reading (especially mystery novels and short stories!) and I love getting lost in a great movie as well! I love going to the movie theater with my dad, going to Giants games with my mom, and spending time with my friends. I have a dream of writing short stories and opening up my own bookstore one day! I am so thankful to have started my teaching career at Roosevelt and plan to continue my career here for many more years to come!
