A lion walks into the public library and no one is quite sure what to do. After all, there are no rules about lions in the library. Miss Merriweather the librarian agrees that he can stay as long as he follows the library's rules. Everything seems perfect with a lion in the library--until something happens that causes the lion to break the rules. Will he be able to come back to the library?This is a really great story to curl up and read. It's fun to imagine what it would be like to have a lion in our library. What would he do? What would he help with? The story is also a good way to talk about when it's OK to break the rules. Highly recommended for K-2 students!
