The Wild Robot
![The Wild Robot The Wild Robot](../cms/lib/CA01001252/Centricity/Domain/1511/the-wild-robot-by-peter-brown.jpg)
The animals on the island slowly come to accept Roz, and she learns all about the experience of living: finding shelter, getting food, even being a parent. She learns different survival techniques and languages from the animals. Over time, she even starts to develop emotion, something that robots don't traditionally have.
The book is an interesting read that raises questions about the origin of emotions. By the end of the book, it's hard for the reader to see Roz as merely a robot and not a person. She develops many human-like characteristics out in the wild, and readers will enjoy seeing her develop as a character in the book and as a robot-person.
