• RUNNING CLUB FINISHED JUNE 2018  

    THANK YOU TO ALL THE PARTICIPANTS WHO JOINED RUNNING CLUB.  I NOT ONLY HOPED TO IMPROVE THE RUNNERS TIME BUT ALSO SHOW THEM THAT RUNNING IS FUN AND AN IMPORTANT PART OF ONES WELL BEING.  I CAN ONLY HOPE THE STUDENTS WILL FIND LATER ON IN THEIR LIFE A JOY FOR RUNNING AND WILL CONTINUE TO RUN TOWARDS A HEALTHIER LIFE.

    What a great Running Club this year.  We had some great runners join the Club and we ended up having some great races.  I'd like to foremost thank myself for the hard work and all the endless hours I put in updating the website and putting up the results only for no one to ever really check.  For all the preperation to get the races set up only to have the after school kids mess with my equipment so I could set it up all over again, day after day.  What a blast! I'd like to thank my determination and persistence, they really got me through this but I couldn't have done it without my imagination and all the nights I couldn't fall asleep trying to think of different events and how I will be able to run them all by myself with 60 kids screaming at me when is it my turn.  So, I end this Running Club season with my left eye twitching for the last 2 months cause I was under so much pressure not only from Running Club but also from trying to get create the perfect certificates for all the different Contest that I try to run during the year.  I bid farewell to all the 5th graders and hopefully they will take something from all this and continue on in the future with a little bit more love for Running as I do.
