Welcome to Kindergarten! I am excited about the opportunity to get to know each of you, and I'm looking forward to a happy and productive school year at James Madison Elementary. 

My home and my classroom are my happy places. I love entertaining friends and family at my home and I love when my classroom is filled with laughter, smiles, and excitement. This current school year will be my 10th year as a classroom teacher and my 2nd year in kindergarten. I am an east coast transplant. I grew up in Ocala, Florida (horse capital of the world) with my two sisters and three brothers. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and my master's degree in Collaborative Teaching/Learning from Florida Southern College. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, crafting, baking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
