SLUSD Wants to Hear From You!!
Do you have opinions on how the San Leandro Unified School District spends money but don’t know how to take action? Attend an upcoming Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) community forum to have your say!
This year, in order to provide more opportunities for feedback, every school site will host at least two LCAP family engagement opportunities. These events will also include details about our facilities improvement bond, Measure N, which is on the ballot for March 3rd.

Monday February 24th at 830am in the library and 315pm in room 102.

If you are unable to attend your school’s LCAP events, SLUSD will also host community forums on the following dates:

February 25 at Bancroft Middle School from 6:30 to 8 pm, presented in Spanish
February 26 at John Muir Middle School from 6:30 tp 8 pm, presented in Chinese
February 29 at the Barbara Lee Center for Health and Wellness, presented in English

It is our hope that the new site-based LCAP events will help us deepen our community engagement practices across this award-winning district. Learn more about the LCAP process HERE.

We are pleased with our recent successes but we understand there is much more work to do for our San Leandro students.  For the next three years, we will be focused on the following five strategic action goals:
    1.Teach, Learn, and Achieve
2.Equity and Inclusion Through College and Career Readiness
    3.Collaborative and Engaged District Culture
    4.Family and Community Engagement
    5. Facilities and Technology
