- Homework is a weekly packet that is sent home Monday and is due on Friday.
- I put the homework packet in each student's mailbox for him/her to take home on Monday, unless it's a holiday, then students will get their homework on Tuesday.
- Each packet contains one page of ELA and two pages of Math to do each day, Monday to Thursday.
- Typically the pages will be something we are working on in class that week, or a review of something we have learned, or both.
- Homework is differentiated (three different levels) depending on the reading level of the child.
- Homework will be marked late if not turned in on Friday (unless the student is absent on Friday; then the student must turn in homework as soon as they are back at school)
- Students who lose or damage their homework may ask for a replacement, but must still turn in homework by the due date.
*I DO look over the homework!
If a child has mostly incomplete and/or a page's worth of incorrect answers, I will notify the parent via email.
If a whole page of homework is incomplete, the student will need to stay in during morning recess that Friday to get help completing it.
*If you have any questions about the homework, please write a note on the homework page itself, or email me.
