Welcome to Ms. Miller's page!
I am the Intervention Specialist at Jefferson Elementary. I have been an elementary school teacher for fifteen years. After two years of teaching second grade in Oakland, I moved to San Leandro. Since 2006, I have taught second grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade at Jefferson Elementary School. I've also been an Elementary School Instructional Innovator. In this role, I learned how to design instruction that support a wide variety of academic needs through project based learning. As a Technology Educational Consultant, I provided professional development on how to use the SLUSD blended learning platforms to personalize learning for students in grades TK-5. I am motivated and excited to be apart of a team that is supporting the implementation of the multi-tiered intervention system of support at Jefferson.
