The award is handed out to the best 5th Grader(s) who exemplifies these criteria: Sportsmanship, Leadership, and Athleticism.

With this award, the athlete will be able to attend any San Leandro School sporting function for free, for life.

Congratulations to this year's Ed Cerf Award Winners.  These four students exemplified what a leader in Physical Education should be like.  They also showed throughout the year great sportsmanship and how one should lead by example, even by losing.  I'd like to again say what a pleasure it was to teach them and see them grow.
