McKinley Elementary School has an active PTO that supports the school through fundraising, hosting community events, supporting school programs, and encouraging involvement. PTO holds regular meetings month that all members of the McKinley community are invited to attend, as well as occasional meetings (as announced) for a specific purpose, such as an event planning meeting. The regular meetings are typically on the third Wednesday of the month, at 8:30 AM in the multipurpose room.
Everyone is welcome to attend any of our PTO meetings. Please note that only Board members can cast a vote, though non-Board Members are welcome to contribute their thoughts and opinions on the issue at hand before it is put to a vote. . If you would like the chance to speak at any of our meetings, you need to make the request in writing at least one week before the meeting, and deliver your request to the PTO mailbox in the school office. Please be sure to clearly state your name, the topic or subject as well as a description of what you wish to talk about, the approximate amount of time you will need, and your contact information.
