Mary Lloyd

I teach the ESL ABE Bridge class in the morning and evening. This is an ESL class that helps students to transition smoothly to ABE, HSD, GED, CTE, college and the workforce.

The class helps students to:speak fluently and participate in conversation about a wide array of topics; write simple essays with a few paragraphs using most tenses;read and understand simple authentic materials; apply basic math skills in fractions, word problems, algebra, percentages, decimals and geometry to real world situations.

 I bring many years of teaching experience from the U.S. as well as India to the classroom. I hope to motivate my students through creative, fun and engaging lessons.
