Tardy Policy

John Muir Middle School

2019-20

The administration will run a query for tardies each daily.

Students will receive one detention for every tracy they receive. Also, the administration will conduct random tardy sweeps. 

The following steps will be taken in cases where detention is not served:

 1.         Missed detention = parent contact #1, and report to next scheduled detention

 2.         Failure to report to next detention after parent contact = additional detention assigned, and parent contact #2 

Note:

First 10-Last10

-      No hall passes 10 minutes after a class period begins

-      No hall passes 10 minutes before a class period ends.
