Sports Medicine Class in Biomedical Pathway Receives Free CPR/AED Certification

September 12, 2019

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Almost 50 students from the Sports Medicine class in the San Leandro High School Biomedical Pathway received a free CPR/AED certification during the school day. With automated external defibrillators (AED) devices installed throughout the school district, this training increases safety and allows students to receive marketable certifications while earning academic credit.

This opportunity was offered for the second year in a row, thanks to a partnership with the East Bay Regional Park District, Fire Department & Lifeguard Services, with funding support from the San Leandro Educational Foundation (SLED) and the school district.
